Longfield Kindergarten (est.1990) is situated on a farm between the villages of Kilby and Fleckney in a purpose built extension to the main farm house.
We aim to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which children can play and learn. We cater for each individual child’s needs and abilities, ensuring a variety of materials and opportunities, indoors and outside, to enable them to develop their social, intellectual, physical and creative skills alongside literacy, numeracy and their general knowledge of the world, so preparing them for full time school.
The children are educated and cared for by qualified and experienced staff.
All members of staff have the required D.B.S. security checks.

We are registered to accept Government Funding.
We offer 30 funded hours to parents eligible for Working Parent Entitlement (WPE)
We offer 15 funded hours Funded Childcare for Two Year Olds
We offer 15 funded hours once a child is 3 and are eligible for Funded Early Education Entitlement FEEE) in the term after their third birthday.
Extra hours attended above those claimed for funded sessions are charged at £24 per 3-hour session.
We offer funding for 35 weeks – Other providers may offer 38
